As part of a new frockwriter series on new modelling faces, meet Talia Berman. Like Molly Paisley, who we profiled yesterday, she has just been signed by Chic Management in Sydney.
The
striking 5’9.5” 15 year-old brunette from Sydney’s eastern suburbs is, we hear, a keen fan
of the modelling reality show genre but has never been interested in trying out for the local Next Top Model edition.
Berman did, however, make the approach to Chic Management, not vice-versa.
Unlike Paisley, Berman is due to turn 16 before the next Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia in April 2013 and so may get to try her hand at a little runway then (MBFWA has a 16+ age minimum) – if she’s not snapped up beforehand by the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival or other. In the interim, she will fit a few other select modelling gigs in between her school studies.
