Abbey Lee Kershaw has been MIA on the runways since taking some time off after shooting George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road in Namibia last year. But one of her Mad Max co-stars will
be at MBFWA next month: Courtney Eaton, who heads up the womens’ show pack from
Sydney agency Viviens Model Management.
Although this will be Eaton’s
first Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia – which has an age minimum of 16
years - Eaton has been modelling since she was 11 in her home state and at 14, was named the face of Bunbury's inaugural South West Fashion Festival.
Eaton moved to Sydney in
January and has been working for, among others, Alex Perry and Forever New,
with a recent trip to Paris to shoot for Mavi Jeans.
But Eaton is by no means the
only new face being promoted by Viviens for MBFWA. Also brand new to the event this
year are the following local girls, including indigenous Australian Elina Moscheni (who we recently profiled). Great to see an Australian model show pack with a more diverse ethnic mix, albeit slightly.
