Move over ANTM, the latest Priscillas star is footy royalty Emily Trimble-Thompson
Well Australia’s Next Top Model might be over for another year, but before Cycle 5 winner Tahnee Atkinson starts the rounds under contract to Priscillas Model Management, the agency has a new breakout star. Eighteen year-old Emily Trimble-Thompson appears on page one of US fashion ‘bible’ Womens Wear Daily today, a shot taken during Jean Paul Gaultier’s haute couture show in Paris overnight. With just a few lowkey RAFW shows and editorials for RUSSH and Grazia, the Melburnian redhead has so far been under the radar in Australia. But things may be about to change. Although Trimble-Thompson did walk at the haute couture this time last year, she has just moved to Paris, where she has been signed with Ford, in addition to London’s Storm agency. Beyond yesterday’s JPG score, upcoming work includes an editorial in Dutch ELLE. Trimble-Thompson is the daughter of the late Australian rules "superstar" Len Thompson, who was best-known for his career with the Collingwood Magpies. Perhaps his daughter may follow suit in the modelling biz.

I tried to post a comment but i don't know if it worked? Thanks for all the news about emily. I discovered on the cover of biba and since i try to follow her career. I'd like to know if i can post the picture of emily and the news of the upcoming elle dutch ed at emily's thread at the fashion spot. And it's sure she signed with storm models? Cause she's not on the website. But maybe it's just a matter of time. Deborah
hi anon - don't know what the problem was. this is the first comment i've seen on this post. occasionally blogger's comments system does play up however.
the storm info comes from priscillas. and of course, you don't have to ask to post on TFS - happens all the time. thank-you for including a link however.
after doing this post on emily - and especially after spotting a shot of her with her late father, she must have been about 13 - i suddenly twigged that that is most likely emily in this shot that i posted from backstage during RAFW. it went on the blog, but also twitter. i was quite careful to grab the models' names throughout the event to include with all the shots, but must have been in a hurry here, because there is no name:

Hi! My name's deborah. I don't have a google account that's why i posted my comment as an anonymous. And ok i"ll put a link to the post.
Hi again it's Deborah! Lovely backstage pic ^_^.
hi deborah -
just to clarify (i had a look at TFS), emily was on the cover of the print edition of WWD. so the actual paper itself - i grabbed a shot from the downloadable PDF. you referred to the online edition.
OK. Sorry for the misunderstanding.I asked to a moderator to edit my post Deborah
