Frockwriter said it remained to be seen whether a recent Gucci shoot done by Abbey Lee Kershaw was for the recently-surfaced Resort 2009 campaign – or something else. And now voilà Kershaw in Gucci's new Spring/Summer 2009 ad campaign, alongside Natasha Poly, Lily Donaldson and up-and-coming Swede Jonatan Frenk. That makes four Gucci campaigns for Kershaw in the one (fiscal) year after FW0809, Flora by Gucci and Resort 2009.
In spite of the fact that Kershaw may merely feature in the background of this first SS09 campaign shot to emerge, what is even more interesting about her Gucci run is the fact that she has been partnered with far better established models.
Russian Poly and Brit Donaldson have both been working internationally since 2004.
The winner of the 2004 Girlfriend Model Search competition in Australia, Kershaw spent from 2004-2007 working locally.
