Speaking of NZ models....meet supernova Olivia O'Driscoll

img

O'Driscoll is 17, already repped by IMG and, according to her Auckland mother agency, has hit the ground running.

Nova Models reports that O'Driscoll is/has:

• Shooting French Elle
• Shooting for Italian Amica (for the second time)
• Walked in four FW0809 Haute Couture shows in Paris (Nova mentions Alexis Mabille, Georges Hobeika and Dany Atrache)
• Shot a portrait to feature in US Teen Vogue for the launch of Jean Paul Gaultier’s new fragrance – "a portrait with Mr Gaultier himself shot by Benjamin Huseby"
• Either already shot for/is booked to be shot for, Another Magazine, RUSSH Tokyo, Pin Up magazine, Wallpaper and German Vogue

She sounds like a very busy girl.

Beyond vogue.com.au/TFS chatter, the only media outlet/blog to pick the story up as far as I can see so far is Kiwi blog, The Girl With The Kaleidoscope Eyes.

O'Driscoll will apparently be back in Auckland from 31st July - 20th August, with "limited availablity".

Shame she won't be there for NZFW.

She has a pretty ethereal quality to her in these shots

Hi Patty, will you be at ANZFW this year?

Hi Data - yes she's very pretty, very ethereal. Some are suggesting she has a Gemma Ward look. In some shots (eg the bottom one) I can even see a hint of Vlada Roslyakova.

Hi Zoe - Well if I don't do the northern hemisphere SS09 circuit, then yes of course I would love to cover it. That's the only thing that has kept me away for the past two years. Once you're on the road covering that circuit, it's difficult, not to mention expensive, to break your round-the-world ticket after NY, come all the way back to Auckland and then rejoin in Milan. Obviously you would also have to miss London. Which a lot of people do anyway of course...

She looks like one of the girls who was in 'Lex' in Roppongi - Tokyo the other night...
